Will mom return for them? With no power, no gas and no means of escape, fear & uncertainty drive the siblings into each other’s arms one dark and stormy night. The ecstasy they discover as lovers changes their lives but nothing prepares Robin for George’s truth...--==|Excerpt|==--Soft candlelight lit up the room, casting plenty of deep, dark shadows.

I sat with the covers pulled up over my lap and a pillow clutched to my chest, staring at George with a hollow quality in my weary green eyes. He sat at the end of the bed, a haunted young man with nothing in the world left but his baby sister, the baby sister he may just be losing after all.I watched his hand twisting in the covers and my stomach turned over.

I felt nauseous and in pain. Abruptly, I was overcome with a feeling of love for this man that was so strong it nearly knocked me on my ass, unconscious. George had agreed to come here with me so we could both live, had agreed to let a killer go free because he loved me and couldn’t stand to see anyone hurt me!

He’d let the woman who’d killed our dad go free for me!I sobbed and ripped the blanket from my legs, leaping forward and flying into George’s strong arms. They weren’t so strong anymore and they shook as they embraced me but I knew he would never let me fall, never let me go, and he didn’t. Snuggled close to his warmth and spicy scent, I tilted my head up and gazed into his hazel eyes deeply, eyes that I loved, eyes that loved me in return.I pressed my lips against his and my heart felt as though it was exploding in my chest.

I knew it was wrong and I thought for sure George would push me away and I wanted to fight, even then, to fight tooth and nail. He didn’t as much as frown. Instead, he kissed me back so caringly and passionately that I knew I was a goner.
